The cakes are freaking good. Tres leches with fresh strawberries my favorite. The prices are so affordable in this recession season. I am very picky when it comes to cakes; if it's too sweet, too dry or not good forget it, I will have a bite and leave it there. Sometimes I get a cake just to eat it all by myself, that never happens once my visitors see it in the fridge; they eat it all.
I'm also not a fan of plain cakes like white bread with strawberries, but this cake has me asking for seconds all the time. To keep it cheap don't get it with any designs just ask them to put balloons or roses, they are not going to look at the design anyway they are going to eat it all...so make sure when you start handing out the cake you have reserved a piece for yourself because you just might end up getting one for yourself the next day.

This is my go-to place for cakes when you want one of the best cakes you can get.
I have gone here for years since my wife introduced me to My Bakery. In fact, we liked it so much, we got our wedding cake here 16 years ago, and it was wonderful.
I recently got a cake from here, went for the dulce de leche cake. It was extraordinary, to say the least. Freshness and quality is what makes this place so good.

WOW, WOW and WOW!
I love My Bakery! This place is amazing!! The 3 leches cake is to die for! Not too soggy and not too firm, just perfect. I grew up in Sylmar/San Fernando and have since moved to Pasadena.. but this place is so good, that I still get my cakes there! Better yet, when my family has a function I always pick up a cake from here... oh and my family lives up near Fresno! Yes, the 3 leches cake survives the 3 hour trip. :)
I’ve had their marble cake and chocolate cake as well, everything from this place is divine!

I have been getting cakes here for over 6 years and oh my, they are always fresh and tasty. The prices are great, the staff could be a bit more personal but who cares, and they are reliable. The only downside is they only take cash.

Ginger pigs! Delicious ginger bread cakes shaped like piggies! Yum yum and cutie tootie as well!
I grew up off this place, so I cringe at the thought of Von's and Ralph's cakes: GROSS!
This is the only decent bakery in the neighborhood, so they get ultra busy during confirmations and holidays. PREORDER!

My family gets their cakes from here ALL the time, they have the best texture for the cake and their frosting isn't chock full of sugar, the cakes just taste so damn good. The ready-made treats and cakes are also great, they don't skimp on the quality just because they are a pre-made item.
